As the direct contact person to your host children, you will have the opportunity to prove your both your educational talent and your child-care skills.
Candidate Requirements for Professional Au Pair Program:
- Enjoys caring for children
- Has a 2-year degree or equivalent
- Has a driver’s license
- Speaks conversational-to-proficient English
- No criminal record
USA:
- 18-26 years old
- Open to working in at least two US states
Australia**:
- 20-30 years old
- Wants to spend 12 months living with an Australian Family
It is very important to us that the Host Family and Au Pair fit together and feel comfortable with each other. In order to find the best match we interview our Host Families in-person to make sure that you will find yourself in a loving and caring family.
* If you do not have a degree in either the medical or the educational field you can still qualify to be a Regular Au Pair (all you need is at least 400 hours of childcare experience).
